Operational Accountability Team

As we seek to solve this large, expensive and complicated problem with many people involved, with a series of steps designed to coordinate the achievement of our goal, under the project leader, the Operational Accountability Team (OAT) supervises the management and administration of the project leader in terms of operations. As it involves many people accountable to the project leader, this Team makes sure the project leader is working according to plans for the attainment of our goals. The Team analyzes result submitted by the project leader in the monthly meeting to ensure that our well-structured series of steps meant for the attainment of our goals are continuously put into operation and kept in operation. With limited resources and time, the Team ensures the project leader operates within the scope designed. A project goes through stages, from Concept to Close-Out, only proceeding if the previous stage has been reviewed and judged to have finished satisfactorily. If any stage fails, the project may be redefined or abandoned altogether. For this reason, the project leader is charged with the responsibility to submit, on monthly basis before meeting with the OAT, report of the previous month to the team to evaluate and monitor the implementation of the project’s development plan; to check it is to be finished on time, and actually solving the problem it aimed to in the first place. This is to make sure the project leader is in line with the project development plan, and actually solving the problem the project aimed to.
