The Spiritual Accountability Team (SAT) is to provide spiritual direction to the project leader to facilitate his continues spiritual formation through a covenanted relationship with him throughout the project, formalized in regular meetings for inquiry, conversation, and reflection around his personal experience. The SAT, by virtue of personal holiness and spiritual maturity, helps the project leader to continue to pay attention to the presence and working of God throughout the project to bring many to Himself. The SAT is to provide, through dedicated interest in the spiritual safety of the project leader, a spiritual covering that ensures the project leader’s soul is firmly rooted in grace as he seeks to lead the way for the attainment of the project goals. This is done in word, prayer, thought, presence, and action. This deep relationship, standing in faith and love with the project leader throughout the project, is a journey of deep healing and an affirmation of Holiness (wholeness), providing the ground for the project leader to be covered spiritually, and communicating sense of continues holiness on the part of the project leader so that he remains in a position to hear from God, while seeking to bring many to the saving – knowledge of Christ through the project.
