Nearly 10 years ago, Pastor Benjamin Amankwaa started his lifelong journey into the ministry, though he was brought up from a Christian home by Pastor Joe Amankwaa, his father. Since the early years of ministry, he has shown leadership ability, strategic planning, creativity, and a commitment to excellence. This journey has produced some amazing results. In many communities in Ghana, he took a handful of students and built a strong youth ministries for Assemblies of God church. In Kumasi, he turned a youth ministry of a few dozen into a couple of hundred. Among leading the youth ministry, he gave general oversight to the entire Student Ministry – nearly 400 youth and children, and 125 volunteers. His success in ministry has enabled him to develop “Innovate” – a ministry committed to leadership training, consulting, and networking. Under his leadership, TCSB has planted many churches for local Ministries.
In his quest to see the world changed through the gospel of Christ, God brought him into contact with a wonderful, spiritually-passionate man, Terry Howell, from the UK. Out of this union was born, The Corner Stone Brotherhood – a Non-denominational, non-governmental Christian Organization with the sole aim of evangelizing all people in all human situations.
In furtherance to this, under his leadership, TCSB planted a church in Accra, Ghana, for a Washington, DC based ministry – New Harvest Christian Ministries – in 2003 under his leadership. Many leaders have been raised under his leadership, taking over the missionary organization as well as the church planted, while the churches keep increasing in number day after day. The sick is healed, the naked clothed, the hungry fed, and the full gospel preached.
Pastor Benjamin is married to Dawn Stanton. Dawn Stanton is from New York, USA. She is a woman gifted in Worship and Praises; a true, tender-hearted, God-fearing, humble woman whose heart is full of love for God and all members of the human race. Dawn served on the Worship and Praises Team of Calvary Assemblies of God, Orlando, FL, USA for 3 years.
