The Evangelism Ministry

The Psalmist said in Psalm 9:17: “The wicked shall be turned to hell and all the nations that forget God.” For this reason, there is the need for the wicked to be warned to turn away from his wickedness. There world’s destruction with sinners is just at a click away. The Angel told Daniel in Daniel 12:9-10, “Go your way, Daniel; for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end. Many shall purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined; but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand; but those who are wise shall understand.”

So now, the wicked keep going wayward, because they end is near. But God has restored the wise that know the time, and hold the right interpretation of the time that the destruction of the wicked is near. For this reason, there is the need for the wise to warn the wicked of the coming doom.

Christ Jesus, the MASTER restorer, commanded the Disciples to carry out the work of warning the wicked to turn from their wickedness, and announce to them the great door of grace God has opened to the fallen mankind through the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus, in Matthew 28:19-20, “Go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things which I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

In response to this command of the MASTER, The Evangelism Ministry (TEM) of TCSB is made up of young, dynamic and vibrant men of God that have been called and bestowed upon the gifts of evangelism according to the grace of the Lord Jesus through the Holy Spirit. TEM is reaching the unreached with the gospel of Christ, breathing life into communities less-represented in the Christian faith…anywhere! We have done it many times, and have caused joy in heaven, as many are brought into the saving-knowledge of Christ. TEM is working with the Holy Spirit, our Senior Partner. We are not experimenting; we are authorized to evangelize all people. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.” Members of TEM are bold, selfless, strong, committed, with a great passion for nothing, except the business of soul-winning.  They are called, empowered and sent, with only one mission: to preach about the resurrected Christ as the only way to be restored into Sonship and obtain forgiveness of sin, and consequently, possess the kingdom.

TEM strategic means of evangelism:

TEM embarks on evangelism in many ways as the Lord leads in a specific place or location. Here are a few of the ways:

1. Literature & Tapes Evangelism.

2. Personal Evangelism.

3. Mass Evangelism.

 

1. Literature & Tapes Evangelism:

TEM has people trained and equipped to go out with tapes and tracts and share with people. There have been a lot of testimonies from people who come in persons to our premises to testify of the power of the gospel through these tracts and tapes. Others call us on phone to share the joy of salvation with us as they are blessed with more insight into salvation through Christ. It is the vision of TEM to set-up a public library and furnishes it with all kinds of Christian literatures written by TCSB, and others that contain powerful salvation messages and preaching tapes mainly for the public.

2. Personal Evangelism:

This form of evangelism by TEM has to do with evangelising on person-to-person basis. TEM has carried out a radical research into this form of evangelism through experience, and the result has shown that there is no other form of evangelism as powerful and touching as the person-to-person. From all statistics shown on our data, this form of evangelism has proven to be the number one and the most effective way of winning the lost for Christ. It is tiring, difficult, risky, time-consuming, but that value of the product far exceeds the cost. TEM faces all these challenges, placing high emphasis on the soul of the lost, and considering the salvation of them that are lost a priority over their own lives. Our happiness is fulfilled when the lost come to Christ, no matter the cost.

3. Mass Evangelism:

TEM organises crusades in villages, towns and other communities. Through our crusades, many are brought to the saving-knowledge of Christ. TEM has held hundreds of crusades across the country, and many have come to know Christ. TEM liaisons with other Ministries-Prophetic, Healing, Church Planting and Pastoral-during its crusade. People who come to our crusade grounds experience God as He is. Many come to tell us that they have known God in a better way. The blind see; the lame walk; the deaf hear; the dump speak; the sick are healed; the oppressed are set free; those in darkness see light, and the sin-enslaved are break free.
